WIT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  Each year the Women In Technology is honored to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors entering college and young women already in college pursuing a STEM major. Sponsored by WIT Partners, these scholarships are awarded to participants in the
WIT Girls and WIT Campus programs.

Application process opens Tuesday, March 8th 
Scholarship recipients will be announced on Thursday, June 15 at WIT Connect.

Making a Better Future Day

Enrich Her, a pitch competition for women-owned businesses, is happening in Atlanta on April 1st. STEM Wars

Georgia TRiO in conjunction with MICROSOFT, the Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell, the WNBA”s Atlanta DREAM, and our community partners will sponsor its 3rd Annual STEM Wars event on Saturday, April 8, 2017 on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan State College in Atlanta, GA. STEM Wars has become the largest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiative in the country dedicated to the engagement of minority, low-income, and first-generation college students in STEM fields and careers!

Georgia Bio/ACTSI 8th Annual Academic & Industry Intersection Conference

Event Date: May 10, 2017 from 9:00am – 1:30pm

This year’s conference will explore the digital tools needed to facilitate a vision of personalized connected health and population health management. The event provides a collaborative environment for university researchers and industry executives using a program filled with subject matter experts describing current models and innovative trends shaping the future of translational science through the lens of mobile/digital health. The program includes a national industry perspective, academic experts on digital health, big data integration, and cybersecurity imperatives, and stories of successful academic-industry partnerships and useful collaborative ideas and resources from an expert academic-industry panel.
