
Careers in Action: Leadership Foundations

Who should attend Leadership Foundations?
WIT’s Leadership Foundations is targeted to women who are in the early stages of their management career. High potential individual contributors and associates aiming to broaden and advance their careers are also excellent candidates.
When you’ve completed WIT’s Careers in Action Leadership Foundations, you will have learned:
- How to develop a personal vision for leadership, and understand how to effectively execute a plan to realize that vision
- The importance of goal setting, and how to set your own goals
- Powerful communications skills to help you lead at all levels within your organization
- The difference between management and leadership – and how to work each to your advantage
- Important negotiating skills
- How to effectively manage conflict
- How to build social capital within your networks
Leadership Foundations is offered for six months, with one session per month, for $1,750 for all six sessions. All training takes place in metro-Atlanta.
