Girl Get IT – Where future innovators connect with today’s technology leaders
WIT’s Girls Get IT, as part of the WIT Foundation, collaborates with the Georgia business community to inspire girls in middle and high school to choose careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
Why? Because the statistics are alarming: America lags behind other nations in the number of students majoring in science and engineering at colleges and universities, according to the National Science Foundation. Additionally, women make up just 9 percent of those receiving engineering degrees – and with your help, we’re changing that statistic.
