Girl Get IT: Where future innovators connect with today’s technology leaders.

As part of the WIT Foundation, Girls Get IT (Information Technology) collaborates with the Georgia business community to inspire girls in middle and high school to choose careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

Want to RACE?

Come join Greek Warriors Take the Hill on May 17th for a day of fun in the sun as we race up Stone Mountain in support of Girls Get IT. The race will be roughly 4 miles in total - with a one mile jog to the base of the mountain, a hike up and down the mountainside, then the return jog back to base camp. There will be food, drinks, and yard games after the race, so bring your sun screen and your running shoes, and let's go!

Why is it important to encourage and support middle and high school girls who are interested in STEM? Because the statistics are alarming: America lags behind other nations in the number of students majoring in science and engineering at colleges and universities, according to the National Science Foundation. Additionally, women make up just 9 percent of those receiving engineering degrees. But with your help, we’re changing that statistic.
