WIT on Campus

Internships

Atlanta area corporations will provide summer internships to qualifying juniors and seniors who participate in WIT on Campus programs. These internships will be coordinated through your participating school to assure all requirements are met.

How does it work?

Qualified WIT on Campus juniors and seniors will interview with participating WIT corporate partners for an opportunity to further develop and support the student’s involvement in STEM. Once selected, participants will work in a full-time capacity in the Atlanta metro area.

Participating WIT on Campus students will register their internships with their respective academic institutions and complete the necessary requirements for participation. Students must also agree to take part in outreach to future WIT on Campus participants once they have completed the program. More details will be available through your STEM department coordinator.

What are the internship requirements?

You must register with your respective institution to receive audit credit for the internship (If you want to receive academic credit you must contact your department. Please note that there is a cost per credit hour associated with receiving academic credit.)
You must be in good disciplinary standing.
You must have completed the WIT on Campus program.

Selection is based on your potential for leadership as indicated by grades, work experiences, extracurricular activities, interests, and maturity. Students are required to submit a transcript, resume, and two professional references.
