It’s no secret that social media helps you build your online brand and connect to people faster than ever before, but many students make crucial and costly mistakes. A survey conducted by Forbes in 2011 stated that “90% of employers use or plan to use social media in their hiring efforts, and 70% of companies check social media profiles of applicants.” Therefore, it is more critical than ever for students to manage their web presence appropriately. Join us for this interactive session on how to manage social media, as well as how to use social media in your job search.
