WIT’s Women of the Year Awards presented by Cox Automotive celebrates women who are actively engaged in Georgia’s STEM community with roles in Small, Medium, and Large/Enterprise organizations. This year we will celebrate a woman in the Non-profit arena as well. Additionally, one special middle or high school girl is recognized as the Girl of the Year (GOTY) for her participation in the WIT GIRLS program.

WIT’s Women of the Year (WOTY) Awards celebrates women technology executives for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries of technology, and women who make a difference in their communities. Girl of the Year

The WIT Girl of the Year award was created in 2012 as part of WIT’s commitment to support the entire lifecycle of a woman’s career in technology, and is presented annually as part of the Women of the Year in Technology Awards.

Nominations Process & Criteria

Award winners will be announced at WIT’s Awards Gala – Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Georgia Aquarium – across four categories:

Large/Enterprise Organization: represents companies with more than 2,500 employees.

Medium/Mid-Size Organization: represents Mid-sized/Medium Organizations (251-2,500 employees) and Educational Institutions.

Small/Emerging Organization: represents companies with 250 employees or less.

Non-Profit Oorganization, representing public/private non-profits

Meet the Judges

WIT held a robust nominations period from June 15th until August 7, 2015.  WIT received over 80 nominations! Once selected as a nominee, a long form detailing accomplishments is required for judging.
