Keisha James, Vice President, Commercial Information Technology, GE Power
Keisha James, Vice President, Commercial Information Technology at GE Power, is an Executive with over 20 years of international leadership, technology domain expertise and business operational experience. In her role, Keisha is responsible for driving global Marketing & Sales information technology strategy and operations for the manufacturing and service of heavy-duty gas, steam turbines and generators business, a $30B unit of GE. She leads a global IT team with focus on eCommerce, demand generation, salesforce effectiveness, commercial operations efficiency through cloud-based technologies such as Hybris, Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Oracle CPQ. She is Black Belt certified in GE’s Six Sigma program and holds a coveted PMP certification. Her academic degrees include dual Bachelors in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics in addition to an MBA. Native of Jamaica and raised in the inner-city of New York, Keisha grew up in an environment with limited visibility to women in STEM leadership roles. Her innate talent for mathematics, coupled with her inner desire to succeed pushed her to pursue a higher education in technology. Today, it is her continued passion that drives her to support organizations which focus on closing the gender gap in technology. She is an active board member of Girls, Inc-GA and CollegePATH, Inc and an Executive Sponsor of GE-Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program. Keisha lives in Marietta, GA with her husband and two children.
Maggie Tucker, Vice President, Omni-Channel Marketing, IHG
Maggie Tucker is the Vice President, Omni-Channel Marketing at InterContinental Hotels Group. IHG® is one of the world’s leading hotel companies, with over 800,000 rooms in over 5,400 hotels and more than 375,000 people working across almost 100 countries to deliver True Hospitality for everyone. In her role, she leads the Omni-Channel Marketing team, which is focused on maximizing the performance of IHG’s marketing efforts – more specifically, her team focuses on IHG’s email marketing, mobile messaging, marketing across websites & app, content strategy, content studio, social community management, translations center of excellence, and more – all in support of IHG’s brands & loyalty programs.
Maggie aims to stay active in her professional and personal community. She has served on many professional association boards over the years and is a former Board Member & Secretary of the Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House. Her current focuses within IHG include being IHG HyPE Executive Sponsor, leading IHG’s Senior Leader Lean-In Circle, and mentoring employees. Outside of IHG, Maggie is the PTA president at her daughter’s school, a Plywood People Advisor, and volunteers with multiple non-profits in Atlanta. Her greatest accomplishment and passion is focused on trying to raise 3 young daughters to be compassionate and productive humans.
Prior to IHG, Maggie was at The Home Depot in various digital and business leadership roles. Maggie has a rich background in digital marketing, eCommerce, planning & strategy, navigating complex organizations, and leading successful teams. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Georgia and her MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School.
Wendy Peters, IT Senior Director
In October 1993, Wendy Peters started her career as a Systems Analyst at NCR Corporation. Over the past 25 years, Wendy has held positions in a variety of departments throughout the company including Services, Retail Global Support, Knowledge Engineering, IT Mergers & Acquisitions, and IT Enterprise Business Applications. Today, as IT Senior Director in the Enterprise Business Applications organization, Wendy supports NCR’s Sales Systems and is helping drive the agile transformation and SAFe implementation. Prior to joining NCR, Wendy worked 10 years at Michigan State University as a Systems Analyst.
Wendy is an active member of WIN (Women in NCR) a business resource group with Chapters in Asia, Europe and the US. The WIN mission is to be positive change agents enabling NCR to become an innovative and diverse place for women to work through professional, personal and community engagement programs. She actively serves as a mentor to both women starting their careers as well as experienced iNCRedible employees.
Kathi Chandler, IT Director, NCR
Kathi Chandler, is an IT Director responsible for Digital Commerce at NCR Corporation. She is responsible for designing NCR’s online ordering solution that was implemented last year. In addition, her focus includes empowering their customers journey with NCR’s through self-service, designed, digital interactions. While these are B2B interactions, their customers’ expectations are highly influenced by their own personal online consumer experiences. Delivering against these expectations, while shifting to a digital, low touch model and meeting their business operational needs, she finds quite challenge but also very rewarding.
