“Being in a male dominant industry myself, I’m determined to push women to reach/achieve their dreams regardless of what the barriers may lie ahead. WIT has been carving the path for women like myself over the past 25 years, and I saw the opportunity to become a part of building this road for women. Knowledge is power; the more of it you have, the more power you have to write your destiny and I believe WIT provides women with the knowledge, support, and tool set to be a formidable force within science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industries.”
Camille Faith-Ann Cowans has been a member of WIT since 2014. She has served in leadership positions in IT and IT Project Management. Camille possesses a great passion for social and educational community work.
“I believe in serving. From experience, I have learned that it is quite easy to become self-absorbed with one’s own life. Volunteering allows me to connect with others. Those shared experiences expand my life and appreciation for the people with whom I have work side-by-side and those we have set out to serve.”
