“There is nothing more powerful than opportunity. So often, growing up, girls are simply not given enough opportunity to excel in technology fields. With something as crucial as opportunity, which is exactly what WIT and its programs provide, we can collectively encourage and motivate these incredibly talented girls to pursue their dreams. If I can contribute my time toward this type of opportunity, I have made the type of difference that matters” – Kristi

Stephanie Armistead is an Atlanta native, a proud UGA Graduate and Humane Society Rescue Mom.  WIT Mission Moment

Women In Technology (WIT) is an engine of change and innovation. This year, we noticed the demand of a well-rounded approach to thinking, learning and problem-solving that includes creativity and innovation and changed our focus from STEM to STEAM.

From the classroom to the boardroom, WIT supports, inspires and challenges women so they are prepared to fill half of Georgia’s new STEAM jobs. Support WIT’s mission to ensure more girls and women are exposed and get involved with STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. In celebration of our 25th anniversary, make your donation today of $25, $50, $100 or any amount you choose!
