Program Course 1: Strategic Communications Skills with DiSC Assessment ©
This course uses a behavioral assessment called DiSC to help people understand each other on a more fundamental level. This program helps participants develop specific communication strategies that build a culture of trust and collaboration.
Program Course 2: Personal Leadership
This highly interactive program offers participants a chance to assess how they respond to ambiguous situations, decision points and conflict. Instead of going on “auto pilot,” Personal Leadership (PL) offers a step-by-step process for taking charge of your own reactions and becoming aware of your own judgments, emotions and physical sensations resulting in greater clarity and resolve in determining the best options – especially in situations of conflict and change.
Program Course 3: Emotional Intelligence
Research shows that two-thirds of our success in business is related to our emotional intelligence quotient, rather than the standard definition of intelligence. If you are starting your first job, re- entering the workforce, considering a career change or simply looking to enhance your upward mobility, improving your emotional intelligence (EQ) is a critical first step in the process. This course provides participants the foundation skills to self-manage in new and changing situations and relationship management skills to succeed in a team environment.
Program Course 4: Critical Thinking
This course is intended for anyone in the workplace who wants to improve their creative thinking and problem solving skills. As employees are faced with problems on a regular basis, it is critical to learn techniques and best practices to boost critical thinking. The workshop will explore the relationship between critical thinking and innovation in the workplace.
Program Course 5: The Power of Personal Brand
In this course you will learn what a personal brand is, what the benefits are in having a clearly defined brand, and how to build and manage your own. You will leave with a new understanding of yourself as an individual and as a business entity, a provider of business services. You will also gain an understanding of how to use your brand to promote yourself and/or services.
Program Course 6: Better Business Writing
This hands-on writing workshop helps participants hone skills for writing to target business audiences. The interactive teaching style utilized provides direction on generating written communications that more effectively positions the message and the writer. Participants learn to write succinctly to their readers, de-clutter their writing, and convey their points clearly, concisely, and positively.
