The Best Advice She’s Ever Received: “Olga Rice, a leader I reported to early in my career, told me that it was my responsibility to make people comfortable with me. I did not understand the power of that advice until much later in my career. I have since learned how to make others comfortable with me. It is my ability to authentically engage others that has contributed to the growth and success of my business and career.”

A Leader She Looks Up To: “These days I most admire Michelle Obama. I appreciate her style, grace, self-confidence, and intellect. None of us will ever know the joy and pain of being the first women of color to hold the position of first lady of the United States. In my opinion she is the role model for strength, class, and integrity. She stands firm in her values, and dedicates her time and treasures to the things she believes in.”
