Women in Technology (WIT) to Operate in AgileThought’s Expanded Atlanta Office
(ATLANTA) – AgileThought—a national provider of enterprise custom software solutions and development consulting to Fortune 1000 clients—recently announced that Women in Technology (WIT)—a nonprofit that empowers and educates young girls and women to excel in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM)—will operate in its Atlanta office.
With over 300 volunteers, WIT delivers professional development and networking opportunities to more than 3,000 professionals and offers programs at no charge to over 1,500 students. Since 2016, AgileThought has taken an active role in WIT’s programs and initiatives to support the development of women in STEAM. This announcement not only reflects the growing partnership between AgileThought and WIT, but it also reflects AgileThought’s growing footprint in the Atlanta area. Earlier this year, AgileThought expanded its Atlanta office to accommodate the growth of their Atlanta–based team members and to enable the company to better serve enterprise clients located in Georgia. The new office features a large, configurable space to support onsite co-teaming and collaboration with client teams as well as WIT operations.
For WIT, this partnership directly supports the organization’s growing number of education programs and initiatives that help women thrive in STEAM. “I’m thrilled about our partnership with AgileThought and grateful for their continued support and active involvement in Women in Technology, said Penny Collins, the president and CEO of WIT. “Partners like AgileThought truly make a difference and have an impact on our mission.”
“We’ve been working closely with WIT for a few years now, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience to support their work in Atlanta,” said Chris Martin, the general manager of AgileThought’s Atlanta office. “I’m excited to have the WIT team in our office and look forward to growing our partnership even further.”
WIT is a nonprofit organization committed to making Georgia the state with the highest percentage of women in the STEAM workforce by providing opportunities that champion women throughout their education and career.
