Introducing the 2026 Campus Club of the Year Award

The 2026 WIT Awards are coming, and one of the recognitions we are most excited to give goes to a college campus that has been doing the work of building community in tech.
Every year, Women in Technology (WIT) hosts the WIT Awards to celebrate the women, girls, and organizations across the tech community who are moving the needle. The Campus Club of the Year Award recognizes a WIT Campus Club that has gone above and beyond to build community, support its members, and create real impact on campus.
This award exists because what happens on a college campus matters. The connections women make, the confidence they build, and the community they find during those years shapes the careers they go on to have. WIT Campus Clubs are at the center of that work, and the Campus Club of the Year Award is how we say: we see what you have built.
Who Should Apply
The Campus Club of the Year Award is open to active WIT Campus Clubs. Applications are submitted by club leaders on behalf of their club. If your club has been showing up for its members, running meaningful events, and building something worth recognizing, this award is for you.
What the Process Looks Like
Applications are reviewed by the WIT Awards committee. Finalists will be notified and invited to attend the 2026 WIT Awards ceremony on October 22 at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, where the Campus Club of the Year winner is announced live.
Why This Recognition Matters
WIT Campus Clubs are how WIT’s mission reaches women before they enter the workforce. Every event hosted, every member supported, and every connection made is part of a larger story about what is possible for women in technology. The Campus Club of the Year Award shines a light on the clubs that are telling that story the loudest.
Last year’s winners from Kennesaw State University captured it well: “The mission statement of WIT Campus resides so much with us because we love peer mentorship and building sisterhood and confidence for women.”
