Where future innovators connect with today’s technology leaders.

According to the National Science Foundation, the U.S. lags behind other nations in the number of students pursuing science and engineering degrees. To help change this, WIT Girls collaborates with Georgia’s business community to inspire middle and high school girls to break barriers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Through hands-on experiences and workshops, we ignite early interest in STEM careers.

Our programs—Career Exploration Workshops, Immersion Experiences, and the Job Shadow Program—connect students with industry leaders, offering real-world insights and invaluable connections. Explore the WIT Girls sponsors who help make these programs possible.

Join the WIT Pipeline: Next Step, WIT Campus

At Women In Technology (WIT), we’re here to support women and girls at every step of their STEM journey, starting with WIT Girls. If you’re a middle or high school student, we provide hands-on experiences, mentorship, and career exploration to help you discover the exciting world of technology.

One does not have to start with WIT Girls to get involved! Whether you hear about us now or later, you can join any of our programs anytime. After WIT Girls, members can explore WIT Campus for college students or WIT YoPros for young professionals in their 20s.

While we’re always working to expand our programs, our members will always have access to a strong network and supportive community to help them succeed, no matter where they are in their journey.

Meet Your WIT Girls Volunteer Leadership Team

WIT’s organization involves as many volunteers as possible with varying degrees of responsibility. Programmatic positions include committee membership, event speaking, company hosting, event registration, and a combination thereof. All are challenging, important, and necessary for WIT to function and effectively meet our mission.
